We want to become the obvious standard for digital solutions at events, fairs and markets in the Nordics.
Our mission
Couponix AB develops and manages apps, platforms and payment solutions that make events, fairs and markets smoother – from sales and payment to planning and statistics. Our goal is to digitalise the entire event experience and create value for everyone involved: organisers, exhibitors and visitors.
Our platform is called Expo Pay – a cashless ticket, payment and fair platform. Visitors pay using QR codes in the app, exhibitors take payment via the Xhibitor app and organisers run the whole event from Expo Pay Portal.
Who we are
Couponix AB is run by Henrik Kristensson and Pierre Gustafsson together with a team of developers, designers and event staff. The combination of business sense, deep technical expertise, a security mindset and hands-on experience from the show floor means we build solutions that work when it counts – when the pace is high and there is no room for error.
We work closely with our customers, from the first idea to operations during a live event. Standing on site ourselves when thousands of visitors need to pay at the same time has shaped how we think about reliability, security and usability.
Our story
Couponix was founded in 2024. The starting point was the acquisition of the payment platform Expo Pay, which became the foundation to build on. Since then we have developed it into a complete toolbox for events – with apps for visitors, exhibitors and organisers, an organiser portal and an event website for tickets and information.
Today Expo Pay is used at fairs, festivals and markets across the Nordics, and the platform grows with new features for every event.
The challenge we solve
Large events, fairs and markets often struggle with the same things: it is hard to track the flow of coupons and cash in real time, high load at the entrance, a lot of manual administration and low visibility into sales during a live event. Expo Pay replaces paper coupons and cash with a digital wallet – shorter queues, full traceability and less administration.
Built for reliability
An event must not stop. Expo Pay is built for high uptime with multiple layers of redundancy – an automatically scalable environment, a redundant database and support for both wifi and mobile networks. Several payment operators mean payments keep working even if a single operator runs into problems.
Getting started
If you run several events, we suggest trying Expo Pay at one or two of them – to experience the smoothness and the Expo Pay feeling, with on-site support.
